Q: How much does your adult rental service cost?
A: You can join for as little as $19.95 per month. We have 3 levels of membership: Silver, Gold & Platinum. At Silver level, you pay only $19.95 per month for up to 3 DVDs at any time. Under our Gold plan you can rent up to 5 titles at any time for only $29.95 per month. The $44.95 Platinum plan will allow you to rent up 5 DVDs simultaneously, plus your selection of FREE premium DVD each month (no postage is charged either).
 
Q: How much is shipping?
A: FREE! We pay for all shipping charges, to you and back to us, always.
 
Q: How many DVDs can I rent per month?
A: We don’t set a limit on how many you can rent. Based on your membership level, you can have 3 or 5 DVDs out at any given time, but you can exchange them for new movies as frequently as you like.
 
Q: How long does it take to get my movies?
A: As soon as you join and place some movies into your Wish List, things start moving. The first 3 or 5 movies will arrive to you via first class mail in 2 to 5 days.
 
Q: How do you determine which movies get sent to me?
A: You determine what you want to watch by creating your own Wish List. We only send you your own selections. We advise that you put a minimum of 6 movies into your Wish List.
 
Q: Do I need a credit card to join?
A: Yes. In order to enjoy the benefits of our program, you need to sign up as a member with a valid credit card. Sorry, checks are not accepted.
 
Q: Can I easily cancel once I've signed up?
A: We are sorry to see you go, however if you would like to terminate your DVD Rentals membership, please contact customer service at 866-833-3339 or email us at rentals@effexmedia.com. For your membership to be cancelled, we require the following: - Return of all titles that you currently have in your possession prior to the renewal date of your membership. If we do not receive all titles back within that period your account will automatically be charged for an additional month - Clearing of your Rentals Queue - Our system is configured to automatically send you the next items that are in stock from your queue. You must clear out your queue so that we do not ship you new titles for your enjoyment. - Cancellation of your account via email - You must either click on the Cancel my Membership button in the My Account area or send an email to rentals@effexmedia.com . Please include your email address within the body of your message. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. though 7 p.m. Eastern. We are not able to cancel memberships outside of our hours of operation.
 
Q: What is the Wish List?
A: As soon as you start your membership, you can begin selecting movies to watch. Just click on any title's Rent button and that movie will be added to your Wish List. Add as many movies as you want and the first 3 or 5 available movies (depending on your membership level) on your Wish List will be automatically shipped to you. Keep them as long as you want - there are no due dates or late fees! When you return a movie, the next available one on your Wish List will be automatically sent. The process continues as long you keep adding, watching and returning movies.
 
Q: Do I have to send back all DVDs at once?
A: No. We prefer that you send them back one a time. After you’ve finished viewing a DVD, simply put it back in its bar coded paper sleeve (please make sure the DVD matches the sleeve), place it back in its protective foam poach, then into its prepaid return mailing envelope. Then, drop it in the mail and as soon as we receive it, we'll send the next title on your list.
 
Q: How can there be no due dates or late fees?
A: Your monthly membership fee provides you with the flexibility to keep up to 3 or 5 titles out for as long as you want. We leave the decision when to return a movie in your hands, so there’s no pressure to hurry up and return it. After you’ve finished with a title, return it to us and we'll send the next one from your list.
 
Q: What if a disc is damaged when I receive it?
A: Discs are rarely damaged, but if you do experience this problem, simply report to us. Then, return the movie to us, and we'll either replace it with the same movie or send the next movie from your list.
 
Q: How do I return my movies?
A: After you’ve finished viewing a DVD, simply put it back in its bar coded paper sleeve (please make sure the DVD matches the sleeve), place it back in its protective foam poach, then into its prepaid return mailing envelope. Q: I don't understand how the DVDs arrive at my house. Can you tell me more about how they're packaged?
A: Each DVD is sent its own individual mailing envelope, which includes a prepaid return envelope. When you have finished with the DVD, just send it back in the prepaid return envelope. The return envelopes are self-addressed, and the postage is prepaid, so it doesn't cost you anything. All mailing is done through the U.S. Postal Service, so it's quick and convenient.
 
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: No. To ensure rapid delivery of products, our service is only available in the United States.
 
Q: Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and other U.S. Territories?
A: Yes, including Puerto Rico. However, we do not ship to military postal addresses.
 
Q: What will show up on my credit card statement?
A: To ensure your privacy, your credit card statement will be billed by “Effex Media, LLC.”
 
Q: How long have you been in business?

A: All product is shipped our distribution facility in Central New Jersey.
 
Q: Are all dvd's that you offer rentable?
A: You can rent any DVD that has the "RENT" button shown in the details section of our store site. To search exclusively for DVDs to rent, click on the Rentals section. There are literally thousands of titles to choose from.
 
Q: How much are the Gold and Platinum levels per month?
A: Our membership plans are as follows: Silver - up to 3 titles out at any time for $19.95/month; Gold - up to 5 titles out at any time for $29.95/month; Platinum - - up to 5 titles out at any time for $44.95/month, plus your choice of 1 FREE title every month (no additional shipping). Platinum members pick their selection from a group of top titles. Your selection is a new title that is shipped separately in its original packaging.
 
Q: About the Platinum plan, when you say "your selection of FREE premium DVD each month", is that mean I can select any DVD in the rental DVD list?
A: You can select from a group that our internal film critics have chosen. There are many great titles to choose from and we rotate them regularly to keep the content fresh.
 
Q: I need to know when you ship the dvds is there any thing on the on the package like the your name effexmedia or something that is traceable back to you. I really need to make sure that it is real discreet.
A: We understand the desire for discretion, which is why products are mailed in plain white envelopes. All envelopes are marked with our company name and address for postal requirements.
 
Q: Do you rent adult VHS CASSETTES...if not...who does?
A: We don't rent VHS TAPES. Currently, we do not know anyone who does.
 
Q: If, when the mailman delivers my DVDs and I am not home, will they bring it back to the post office and require me to come down to sign for it?
A: We ship all of our DVDs via USPS First Class mail, so a signature is not required.
 
Q: What does it mean by "Short Wait", does it mean you won't have it anymore for the future or it's temporary?
A: "Short Wait " means that all the available stock for that title has been rented. This is temporary. We'll ship it to you when we get new inventory or when we an copy of the rental is returned.
 
Q: Why are certain states and zip codes restricted?
A: We cannot ship to certain locations due to the local legislation law. We cannot ship to the following states: Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Utah. We cannot ship to zipcodes that begins with any of the following three digits: 103,223,282,323,325,366,452,557,558,591,681,685.
